Friday 24 May. Cambridge Beer Festival, Jesus Green, Cambridge
The afternoon session opens at 5pm. Weather permitting we'll find a spot on the grass for people to join. Call Rob (there from 6pm) or Matt when you arrive.
Note: the event gets very busy so please do get there early, esle you may not get in. Food, and soft drinks, also available for purchase.

Saturday 1 June. Walk Cambridge Cheese & Wine Garden Party from 7pm (Venue – Cambridge)
An opportunity to sample a range of wines and cheeses from different regions of the world…You can choose which cheese/ wine region of the world you wish to promote..
Or we will co-ordinate with you on your selection to minimise duplication, or advise a suggested contribution if you are undecided.

Wednesday 19 June. Pub Meet and Walk Planning Meeting. Prince Regent, 91 Regent Street, Cambridge, CB2 1AW
From 8pm. New members always welcome. Join us for a drink, meet some of the members and find out more about the group. Hopefully we'll be in the beer garden.
We'll also be looking for volunteers to lead walks over the coming months, so if you are interested in doing this please come along to find out more.

Sunday 11 August. A Grand Day Out. London - Pompeii and Herculaneum exhibition, and other stuff.
A day out in London to visit the British Museum: Life and death in Pompeii and Herculaneum exhibition (£16), and spend the rest of the day as you wish.

Advertising this now as the exhibition is very popular and tickets would need to be booked in advance. Please book during the hour of 13:XX.
Meet at 12:15 at King's Cross railway station by the Harry Potter trolley at the ticket barriers on Platform 9.
We'll then take the Piccadilly line to Russell Square, and walk to the British Museum ready to attend the Exhibition.
The rest of the day is yours. Whether you to choose to visit other parts of the British Museum, other museums, a spot of shopping, or food and drink.
Check the National Rail website for train times and fares. Suggesting for you to purchase a Travelcard incl. underground and buses.
